The house was packed and everyone enjoyed live, traditional Scottish music, a Scotch tasting, flights of beer, excellent food prepared by young Chef Joe, and gracious service by yours truly and two of my awesome classmates, Rachel and Xonna. (Thanks gals!)
The fundraiser was a huge success. It's part of a campaign to raise money for Open Plough's kitchen that will provide nutrition education for the community, job training, and an incubator for small food-production enterprises.
If you'd like to contribute to the cause, check out our indiegogo campaign page http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-open-plough-project. The campaign ends on February 1st. Any amount will help--and $15 will get you a t-shirt.
